IMPACT 150
A Holistic Approach to Family Sustainability
At NourishTT, our Impact 150 initiative is designed to provide structured, short-term support to 150 families every month for up to 10 months, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and guidance to achieve lasting stability. This program goes beyond food assistance—it integrates personalized case management, skill-building, mental and physical health support, and employment pathways to help families become self-sufficient.

Personalized Case Management

2 week process
Each selected family undergoes a thorough eligibility screening process to assess their specific needs. Once chosen, families participate in an information session where a dedicated Case Manager works closely with them to develop a customized sustainability plan. This plan outlines the steps needed for long-term stability, including financial planning, skill acquisition, and career or business development opportunities.
Offsetting Grocery Bills for Self-Improvement
By reducing grocery expenses, families can redirect their limited funds toward personal and professional growth, such as:
✅ Enrolling in online courses to improve job prospects
✅ Purchasing resale products to start small businesses
✅ Learning trade skills for sustainable employment
✅ Investing in essential tools for career advancement
Outreach & Community-Based Support
We prioritize families facing severe economic hardship, particularly those lacking basic necessities such as electricity, experiencing unemployment due to mental or physical illness, or raising children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). By collaborating with community leaders, we ensure that support reaches the most vulnerable families in urgent need.
Health & Wellness: A Key Component
Through our partnership with Acropolis Medical Centre, families have access to mental and physical health support, including:
🧠 Mental Health Sessions to address stress, trauma, and emotional well-being
💪 Physical Health Check-ups to ensure overall wellness
🌿 Wellness Activities & At-Home Gardening to promote self-sufficiency and nutrition

Building Resiliency & Employment Pathways
Families participate in monthly resiliency assessments to measure progress and adapt their sustainability plans as needed. They also engage in employment readiness programs, including:
🔹 Road to Employment Initiatives – Supporting job placement or self-employment opportunities
🔹 Skill Development & Training – Helping individuals acquire marketable skills
🔹 Education & Supportive Services – Ensuring families gain knowledge and resources for a sustainable future
Creating Lasting Change
Impact 150 is not just about providing food—it’s about empowering families to break the cycle of poverty. With a structured approach, community collaboration, and ongoing assessments, we help families move toward financial independence, mental wellness, and a brighter future.
Together, we are building a stronger, more resilient Trinidad and Tobago—one family at a time. 🌱
